Judy has a science degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Masters in Public Health Education from UCLA. She's also a registered dietitian. Judy has been educating in one form or another for 20 years and has taught all ages, from preschoolers to nonagenarians. This is Judy’s 6th year at BCDS learning from science students. Judy’s children, now 12 and 10, are BCDS alums. The East family loves exploring the outside world of the Pacific Northwest and yes, they’re still knee deep in mud, sand or paint and playing with “roly poly” bugs, bees and the inconceivably large PNW banana slugs.
