Investigations and Observations

Putting on our “lab coats”, we begin the steps of scientific process—hypothesis, experimentation, observation, discussion, and recording.  Lab safety rules and proper handling of equipment will also be practiced. Bring something to study under the microscope.

Skin and the Sense of Touch

It’s the largest organ in your body.  It protects you from bacteria.  We will try some experiments today to discover how much we can learn about an object by touch alone.
